Toxic NYC Dark Gray Snow Washed Raw Edge Sweatpants

The Toxic NYC Dark Gray Snow Washed Raw Edge Sweatpants have the washed-out charcoal colour of a pair that has lived through a few New York winters. The snow wash leaves a soft, uneven fade across the cotton, lighter on the raised parts of the knit and deeper in the folds, so the colour looks lived-in instead of flat and every pair comes out slightly different.

The details are raw on purpose. The seams down the outside of each leg are turned out and left unfinished, so a thin ridge of raw edge runs from the hip to the ankle, and the hems are cut raw as well. The back patch pocket has the same raw edges. With every wash those edges curl and soften a little more.

The fit is wide and relaxed: an elastic waistband with a drawstring, then two very wide straight legs that fall to the floor and pool over your sneakers. They are made from a heavy 420 GSM (12.4 oz) 100% cotton knit, which gives wide legs the weight to hang straight and keeps you warm on cold days. Two slash pockets at the sides, one patch pocket on the back.

There is no graphic on these pants. The branding is the TOXIC woven clothing label and the TOXIC hang tag, so they sit under any printed hoodie or tee. Limited edition.

Sizes run S–2XL in a unisex fit. Our male model is 6’0″ (184 cm), 157 lbs (71 kg) and wears a size XL for an extra-long, stacked look; our female model is 5’7″ (171 cm), 99 lbs (45 kg) and wears a size M. Waist and hip are measured flat, so double them for the full measurement. If you are between sizes, take your usual size; size up for more length on the shoe.

Measurements are taken flat. Actual measurements may vary by 1–3 cm (0.4–1.2 in).

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out, with dark colours. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Iron on low if needed. The raw edges will soften and curl slightly over time; trim long loose threads with scissors instead of pulling them. Do not dry clean.
