Toxic NYC Khaki Tape Wide Leg Sweatpants

The Toxic NYC Khaki Tape Wide Leg Sweatpants are built around one detail you see when you walk away: four raised raw-edge tape stripes on the back of each leg. They start at the outer hip and cut diagonally down to the inner hem, so the stripes follow the line of the leg and frame the wide cut from behind. Up front, three slimmer tape stripes trace the edge of each slash pocket. Every tape is left raw, so the edges fray a little more with each wash.

The cut is extra wide and long. The legs drop straight from the hip with plenty of room, and the hem is long enough to pool over your sneakers, the way baggy sweatpants are worn on the street right now. The elastic waistband has a self drawstring, so the pants sit where you want them.

The fabric is a heavyweight 420 GSM (12.4 oz) knit in 100% cotton. It is snow washed after sewing, which gives the khaki-brown colour a soft, slightly uneven faded look and makes every pair a little different. The thick cotton holds the wide shape, keeps you warm through a New York winter and gets softer the more you wear it.

Sizes run S–2XL and are unisex. Take your usual size for a loose fit that pools over your sneakers. Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low and iron at a low temperature. Do not dry clean. The snow-wash colour and raw tape edges soften a little with every wash; that is part of the look.
