The Toxic NYC Deli & Grocery Coffee Heavyweight Hoodie takes the corner store and puts it on a thick, warm pullover in a deep coffee brown. Think of the bodega you walk past every morning: the glowing yellow sign, the striped awning, the OPEN light that never switches off and the cat that sleeps on the counter like it owns the lease. That is the whole print, sitting high on the chest of a hoodie made for cold mornings and late nights.

The print

A hazard-yellow sign spells “TOXIC DELI & GROCERY” in tall black letters, with a white bodega cat perched on top. Below it hangs a yellow and white scalloped awning, a neon-style “OPEN 24/7” sign, the window-sticker line “HOT COFFEE ★ HEROES ★ LOTTO ★ ATM”, our yellow “Corner of Your Bad Habits” script and the fine print “NEW YORK, N.Y. · NO CREDIT UNDER $5”. It is printed direct to garment at about 26.6 cm (10.5 in) wide, centred just under the hood, and stays clear of the pocket. Yellow on coffee brown reads warm and a little vintage, like an old shop sign at dusk. The back, hood and sleeves stay plain. Each hoodie is printed to order and comes with the TOXIC woven label and hang tag.

Fabric and build

The blank is a 420 GSM (12.4 oz) heavyweight knit, 85% cotton and 15% polyester, so it feels dense and soft without being stiff. The hood is lined, there are no drawstrings to tangle or pull out, and the kangaroo pocket is cut wide enough for both hands. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem band hold their shape wash after wash and keep the wind out at the wrists and waist.

Fit and sizing

The fit is loose and relaxed with dropped shoulders, and the hem lands at the hip. Sizes run S–2XL and are unisex. Our male model is 6’1″ (185 cm) and wears L; our female model is 5’8″ (172 cm) and wears S for a roomier look. Take your usual size for a relaxed fit or go one up if you like it oversized. How to wear it

Brown and black is a clean winter pairing. Wear it with black barrel leg jeans like our models and add a black beanie when it gets cold. Measurements are of the garment laid flat. Allow 1–3 cm (0.4–1.2″) difference.

Care

Turn inside out and machine wash cold at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Iron on low heat and never directly on the print.
